Author Katarzyna Jerzak, will read from her novella entitled "The Golden Age." The book is a meditation on childhood and loss, but also a love story. Jerzak wrote the book at the request of her cousin, Yoann Lemoine.  The book is a literary  accompaniment to his first music album. It is dedicated to the mothers in our family, because in addition to being loosely based on Yoann's life, it has the history of our family which has been blessed with strong Jewish mothers.  About the author: Katarzyna Jerzak (Princeton University Ph.D., 1995) teaches English Philology at Academia Pomeraniensis in Poland.  She was a tenured Associate Professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Georgia between 1995 and 2012.
